Following some musical hardship during the autumn of 2015, Pál Gerdesits (guitar), decided to deal with the frustration through jamming with friends who were also experiencing similar issues. Regardless of the fact, that Ohm Maid began as somewhat of a fluke, the band became one of the chief supporters of the Budapest psychedelic underground, constantly gigging around town, festivals and in the countryside, sometimes warming up for popular psych acts, such as Naxatras and Mars Red Sky.
Even though Ohm Maid is the youngest band at BGR, they really know how the 60's vibe can be done right, today. During their shows they enchant old and young, including the judges of several talent shows resulting in many awards. The band is quite open about trying to find a balance between staying true to the music, and what is commercially viable, so far, so good.
